Background:

Two-month-long studio project focused on developing and designing a theoretical design exhibition aimed for middle school students.

Big Idea:

Visitors will understand a view of the natural human body and the human body enhanced with prosthetics.

Goals:

• Visitors will be enlightened on how muscle movement works in our daily lives.
• Visitors will begin to understand the muscular system.
• Visitors will understand the evolution of design behind prosthetic limbs.

Objectives:

• Visitors will interact with muscle models and prosthetic limbs to understand human movement.
• Visitors will understand how design and technology has helped people with disabilities lead normal lives.
